Carmicheal training - SPIN CLASSES - 6.30 PM EVERY Wednesday Night
Location : 1/14 Basalt Place, East Tamaki MAP
If anyone requires a wind trainer, Matt will look after Botany Bunch Members at competitive rates. Give him a call on 021 595 496.
Equipment Required :
- Wind Trainer: The ideal trainer to use is one with a remote or adjustable tension that attaches to the handle bars
- Wheel Riser: This is to keep the bike level as when in a trainer the rear wheel is suspended the bike will feel very uncomfortable and hard to ride
- Towel or Sweat Net: For those that have never trained indoors will soon find out just how hot it is! This is because you don’t have the airflow that you get with outdoor cycling & will sweat a lot. A towel is ideal to keep things drier. Minoura also make these great sweat nets that attach to the bike & stop the sweat dripping all over your bike.
- Clothing: As you get so hot you will only really need to wear your bike shorts & a cycle jersey or light weight singlet (not cotton). Make sure that you bring a warm fleece jacket or jumper for after the class as you will get very cold very quickly.
- Computers/Heart Rate Monitors: These are not essential but to really maximise the benefits of the class working with both cadence & heart rate will help achieve the best results.
